Custom Baby Shower Invites

Just wanted to take the time to share these custom baby shower invites with you!
I made them with a vintage feel using doilies, pearls, seam binding and crochet trim.
The mom-to-be chose the invitation wording which went great with the owl theme.
She was really happy with what I created.
The finished size was 5" x 7".

Creating is Fun - May Blog Hop

Hello Everyone! Welcome to my blog!
Thank you for joining us today for the Creating is Fun Design Team - May Blog Hop! Today we are all sharing Baby themed projects.
One lucky commenter will win a $25 gift certificate to the shop. All you have to do is follow and comment on each of the blogs. Martha will choose a winner. Also, some of the design team members are giving away blog candy! For the rest of the week, Martha will be having a 20% off sale on ALL BUTTONS! So make sure you hop on over and check out what is in the store!
If you are following the hop, then you just came from Rebekah.
Here is my first project, I made this quick and easy card using Graphic 45 - Little Darlings
paper collection. I embellished the card with some dainty baby blue lace from the Creating is
Fun Zibbet Shop. I finished it off with a stick pin, a glittered button and some bling!
Next, I made this gift card holder using a 4" x 10" piece of printed paper. I embellished the outside edge with my favorite coral pink trim from the shop.
I scored on the 10" side at 2", 5" and 8". Here is a look at the inside. I punched the end that will hold the gift card with a circle punch. Then, I put a blank piece of card stock in the middle so that you could write, or stamp a sentiment.
To finish it off, I used a velcro circle to keep it closed.

I hope you enjoyed my two projects! Next, you will be visiting Ashley.

Here is the blog list of all our Design Team Members. Make sure you check them all out for plenty of baby themed inspiration! Enjoy!! I hope you visit again soon!!

Easter Cards & REEF Craft Fair

Lately, I have been creating with images from Iralamija Shop. I love these vintage Easter images. The top card was made using some of the new Bo Bunny Ambrosia line. I love the rich colors. This card was one that was out of my norm. I usually never use purple in my card making! I hope you like it!
This second card was a quick card I came up with. For the background I used Memory Box Co gingham patterned paper and an image from the Easter Chick Collage sheet from Iralamija. I am going to be participating in a Craft Fair Fundraiser this weekend (03/24/2012) and I am hoping to sell a lot of my Easter cards.
If you're local to the Inland Empire, maybe you could make it out to check out the fair. There is going to be approximately 200 vendors! Click here for the Craft Fair flyer.

Exciting News!

Just wanted to share the exciting news, that I was selected to be a member of the Creating Is Fun Design Team! I am super excited to be a part of Martha's team! I love the all the ribbons, trims and supplies that the shop carries! Here are some Spring and Easter cards that I used with supplies from the shop.
This card was a challenge! I decided I wanted to make a bouquet of flowers for my card, boy was it hard! I used this white trim to embellish the bouquet. Click the link if you'd like to purchase some!
This card was embellished with crochet lace from the shop. Click the link if you'd like to purchase some!
Wish me luck in this new adventure for me and my love of paper crafting....

I would also like to note that the vintage images used in my cards were purchased here at Iralamija Shop. These beautiful collage sheets make creating so much easier. The images inspire my creativity!

Valentine's Day / Card Class / Contest Entry

This is a sneak peek of one of the cards that will be made at my upcoming Valentine's Day Card Class on January 28th, 2012 at Georgia's Quilt Shop from 10:00 - 12:00. If  you are interested in attending, please call 951-845-8009 to sign up.

This card was also entered into a contest over at Iralamija's Blog. I used 2 images from her collage sheets which can be purchased in her Etsy Shop. I am having a lot of fun creating with these collage sheets!

Here is a tag I'd also like to share. I made this tag for a recent Valentine Tag Swap that I participated in. The paper & cardstock is from Stampin' Up!! I also used some vintage dictionary paper for the flower that was cut using Tim Holtz Tattered Floral die. Then I used the nesting lace hearts die, which is a new release from Lifestyle Crafts. I embellished the tag with some crepe paper, sequins and a glittered button from my craft stash. I sentiment, "Be Mine" is a stamp from Impression Obsession.
