Countdown for Crafty Night In at The Makery So Cal! 10 days to go!

Join me to create these 3 great projects. Be prepared to get glittery, gooey fingers!

We'll be decoupaging a candle, glittering a paper mache box and embellishing a journal.

Valentine's Day / Card Class / Contest Entry

This is a sneak peek of one of the cards that will be made at my upcoming Valentine's Day Card Class on January 28th, 2012 at Georgia's Quilt Shop from 10:00 - 12:00. If  you are interested in attending, please call 951-845-8009 to sign up. 

This card was also entered into a contest over at Iralamija's Blog. I used 2 images from her collage sheets which can be purchased in her Etsy Shop. I am having a lot of fun creating with these collage sheets! 

Here is a tag I'd also like to share. I made this tag for a recent Valentine Tag Swap that I participated in. The paper & cardstock is from Stampin' Up!! I also used some vintage dictionary paper for the flower that was cut using Tim Holtz Tattered Floral die. Then I used the nesting lace hearts die, which is a new release from Lifestyle Crafts. I embellished the tag with some crepe paper, sequins and a glittered button from my craft stash. I sentiment, "Be Mine" is a stamp from Impression Obsession.

Everyday Friendship Card Class

Join me for my next class - "Everyday Friendship Cards" on Sunday, January 15, 2012 at Collective Journey in Redlands, Ca. The class will be from 1:00 to 3:00. The cost of the class is $25. You will be supplied with everything to make the 3 cards and card box pictured above.

I had been hoarding it for some time now! When it first came out, I traveled near & far to buy some! I hope you enjoy the project and will join me!

Upcoming  class at Collective Journey in Redlands, Ca. Come and make this "Purse-onally Yours" altered gift bag. In it you will find 5 tags, 5 mini gift cards, 5 envelopes and 10 labels to personalize. Look in the pocket and you'll find a mini notebook! Learn how to do this accordion fold gathering with vintage paper on the outside of the purse.  Cost is $25. Class will be held on Wednesday, Aug 24th, 2011!! Upcoming Class

Join me for a "Vintage Sewing Inspired" Class over at Georgia's Quilt Shop in Beaumont. This class is scheduled on 2 different days. Join us on whichever day is convenient for you! The class fee is $20. The first class will be held on  Tuesday, July 12th, 2011 at 4:30pm. The second class will be held on Saturday, July 30th, 2011 at 2:30pm. We will be making 3 cards and a matching tag. Georgia recently moved to a bigger shop and is offering paper crafting classes as well as sewing classes. You can access the July class schedule here.
